We were in room 510 (double room). The aircon was very welcome due to the excessive heat outside. The bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. The location to the train station and Part-Dieu shopping centre was excellent. The purpose of our overnight stay was to attend the Rolling Stones concert at the Groupama stadium. The tram to the stadium was a very close 5-minute walk from the hotel. All the staff were very helpful, smiley and polite. The communal Reception area was very friendly-looking for adults and kids. There was complimentary delicious-flavoured water all day on the Reception desk. The buffet breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold. For an overnight stay the hotel was great.

The hotel is incredibly comfortable, clean, quiet, and perfectly located. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and the items in there are very well maintained. Also, the fact that there are big windows makes it very easy to get some fresh air. The spacious beds are a very big plus as well. Moreover, whoever travels for work can stay in the room, as it is sound-proof, and the wi-fi works very well. The fact that there is a restaurant next to the reception, makes it perfect for travelers who would love a delicious meal, yet they do not leave the comfort of their accommodation.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The blonde woman in the restaurant really works hard and she entertained me with the way her ponytail swung back and forth while she quickly walked from table to table. The woman running the breakfast room the next morning was also doing everything she could for guests. Went back to the grill a second time because the food was cooked perfectly my first time and the second was cooked equally well (steak/hamburger). I would go back again if I wasn’t going to Avignon!!! 😀😀😀

Pleasant stay in Lyon at Ibis. It's located in a pretty convenient location where transport is close and walking to attractions is easy. The staff were lovely and the reception even hosts a decently sized area to grab a drink and relax; it also has a nice arcade machine as well. The room was comfortable, albeit a bit small but it wasn't really an issue as we were only utilising the room for rest. Highly recommended if you are a backpacker or in need of a good and affordable place to stay.

Matthew

The location was only ten minutes from the station, turning left out of the Béraudier station exit and straight along that road. The bedroom had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. The big asset of the hotel is the excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Thoroughly recommend the Salade Nordique, the Côte du Rhone wine and the cheese board. A perfect overnight stop on the two-day train journey from St Pancras to Venice.
